Confirmed from Cedar Mountain Trail Rides' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic trail rides for all experience levels, led by friendly guides.
What runners say about Cedar Mountain Trail Rides
“Definitely a must if you’re looking for a beautiful ride experienced or inexperienced!”
Definitely a must if you’re looking for a beautiful ride experienced or inexperienced! $40 Cash per person & kids at FREE! This is totally something that anybody can do to enjoy the scenery of Cody! Our horses, Carter & Diamond were so mindful of their rider & unbelievably tame!
Nothing but great things to say about this place! If I could give a 6-star rating for this ranch, I would! For starters, Bob (the owner) was genuinely a pleasure to speak with, he had shared so many wonderful stories about his time at the ranch and made my first mountain trail ride very memorable!
We loved our experience here! Such pleasant folks, healthy, beautiful horses and a scenic ride! Our guide was so fun to chat with on the trail and gave us lots of fun facts about Cody.
Cedar Mountain was absolutely great! Everyone was very nice and Shay, our tour guide, was super nice and good with our whole family. The ride was so much more than a simple follow the leader trail ride. Going up and down the steep incline was very cool. If you are ever in Cody, WY this is a must stop.
Trail conditions & character
“The views were great, the horses were friendly and they matched us up with ones perfect for everyone.”
“I would have to say that the mountains could be a little steep, even for a rider like me but the horses are super quiet and will follow along with no problem!”
“It's a whole different experience than just riding on a flat trail.”
