Confirmed from Bedford Trails Linear Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Outdoor space featuring paved trails, plus a playground with swings.
What runners say about Bedford Trails Linear Park
“The trail is nice and clean and I like how excercise equipment is available at certain points.”
“The trails are a great place to run and walk your dogs.”
“Beautiful and peaceful trail in the middle of a neighborhood!”
This is my first time here and I couldn’t believe I missed this trail having lived in Bedford for over two years. The address took me to a neighborhood but I kept walking and there it was the glorious trail. It’s pretty huge, biking trail by design but also good for walking and running.
Great place for a run or to walk your pup. Generally very friendly people who typically wave. Since it runs through the back of homes, lots of dogs in their backyards along the path, so something to be mindful of.
This was a brilliant idea, putting a walking/riding trail between the houses in the space used by the power lines. Such a great space and makes it possible to take a really long walk. Wish it had access points that you could park near easily.
My husband and I love this trail. We see lots of birds, wild flowers, dogs and their walkers. It gets really hot in the summer, but it is great other times.

“They have sitting areas, water fountain in few spots, trail markers, recycling bin (I’ll give a plus for that).”
“There isn't really any parking so we just parked on the street and walked up to.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
