Confirmed from Bob Eden Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tree-filled park with a playground, picnic areas & fields for soccer & softball.
What runners say about Bob Eden Park
“Well-maintained and full-featured, except for the minimalist bathrooms.”
“This is definitely a great place for a family outing or if you want scenic exercise.”
“Last but not least, for the people who want to have a picnic next to a lake or nature, there's a big picnic area with a bathroom, and it's under shade.”
Absolutely beautiful park. I'm visiting family here from NY, and was looking for a nearby park to walk in. My daughter and I found Bob Eden park on Google and decided to visit as it was just up the road. Well maintained. Beautiful landscaping. Nice clear trails, winding a round a pretty creek.
Great little park with a creek that runs through. I managed to catch me three total. This was in 45 degree weather so I believe I will be back in summer and catch way more.
Awesome park for gentle, paved, shady walking trails! Also have sand volleyball, tennis, baseball, open grassy area, and playgrounds. I often walk my doggie here and always enjoy the amenities and visitors. Good place.
Such a lovely park with huge wildflowers field, volleyball, baseball courts, kids playground and a walking footway. It was very quiet and felt quite relaxing. The walk was worth it seeing different animals and listening to birds chirping here and there.
Trail conditions & character
“I also love that there are mile marker signs every quarter mile, many water fountains, and little bags for you to clean up after your dog.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
