Confirmed from Bedminster Hike and Bikeway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic, paved trail for hiking and walking along a river, with playgrounds, bike jumps and a rope swing.
What runners say about Bedminster Hike and Bikeway
“It is a beautiful trail and enjoyable - however, this is not a “flat” trail as some posters describe.”
“Though its proximity to the highway slightly spurns the serenity, the overall atmosphere feels safe, welcoming, and peaceful.”
“Highly recommended for a family of all ages willing to do an almost 6-mile out-and-back round trip.”

It is a beautiful trail and enjoyable - however, this is not a “flat” trail as some posters describe. If you enter from the south end of the trail (in burnt mills park) the trail begins with a long downhill slope that could’ve seriously injured me on my roller skates.

“It’s a lovely paved trail, but I wouldn’t say this is the best place to feel surrounded by nature since it’s right next to the highway.”
