Confirmed from Bedminster Hike and Bikeway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Scenic, paved trail for hiking and walking along a river, with playgrounds, bike jumps and a rope swing.

Beautiful Bike Path. My daughter and I enjoyed it so much. The scenery with spring flowers, a pond, bridges, a play ground, benches along the way, the river, someone even put up some bird houses every so often you would see one and the path is mostly smooth.

Great trail with moderate to light use in some parts and heavy use in other parts. Difficult to figure out where to park at the south side entrance- we ended up parking in a preschool parking lot (it was a holiday) after getting yelled at by a resident for parking on a residential street (there were no signs saying…

Great 2.6 mile paved trail for hiking and biking that starts by Library, to Main Street's Bedminster Village, passes Bedminster Elementary School, follows the Albert Winkler/Herbert Snyder Nature Trail, through Miller Lane Park, River Road Park detour, and end at the Hills all while avoiding busy intersections with…

It is a beautiful trail and enjoyable - however, this is not a “flat” trail as some posters describe. If you enter from the south end of the trail (in burnt mills park) the trail begins with a long downhill slope that could’ve seriously injured me on my roller skates.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 10 mentions

“This is the residential part of the Bikeway with residential parking only, the free parking is at the South end of the trail located at Burnt Mills Park.”
