Confirmed from Mountain Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Baseball, softball, soccer & lacrosse fields in an open recreational area, plus jogging trails.
What runners say about Mountain Park
“The trails are also well maintained for the most part and can really be quite picturesque at most times during the year.”

“Pleasant place for a dog walk, both on paved paths and some wood-chipped loops off the main paths.”
A decent size park with athletic turf, fields, and wooded trails. This place is great for dog walking and any kind of leisurely stroll. There is also adequate parking unless it is extremely busy for some kind of sport event.
Good persons love this park. It is free of dog's poop. Clean and well-maintained park with walking paths leading to "nature trail" in forest.
Amazing park for everyone in the community. Organized and pick up sports, families with dogs and elderly couples on their daily walks, it is an amazing place, where all sections of the community merge. Ample trails for dog walks! A few picnic tables to enjoy a snack or afternoon lunch after a game.
A big sprawling park with baseball, softball and lacrosse and soccer fields. Nice paved area for bicycle riding, walking and running. Gets windy so bring a jacket even when you do not think you will need one.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
