Confirmed from Bernal Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Big fan of this little park! It’s a great walking trail, all paved and super accessible. It’s about a mile around the paved loop. It’s great in early morning and evenings. There’s a lot of smaller trees so not a lot of shade yet!

Nice big park, great place for a walk. The area is wide open. Great views. You can see Mission Peak and Mt. Allison from some parts of the park, and Mt. Diablo from another part. The bathrooms are pretty clean as well.

Bernal community park is is one of the biggest community park in the beer area. Have a lot of soccer field, basketball field, picnic areas with the table and chairs with barbecue grills, playground for the kids, walking trails and have a really open big field to walk and run your dogs.

The sky I looked up at this park was an inspiration. It was very beautiful. The clouds are white and cool. I really enjoyed walking inside this park. It has a nice trail with green all around. There is a sports park right next to this park which makes it even nicer.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
