Confirmed from Bertram Lakes Singletrack Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular spot for mountain biking, featuring singletrack trails with berms, jumps, and wooden features.
What runners say about Bertram Lakes Singletrack Trail
“The trails are entertaining, varied throughout, well signed, and well maintained.”
Great trail system, with excellent volunteers who maintain trail grooming. Year-round biking! Lots of critters to see, and neat wildlife. They have a social media page too, with up-to-date info and discussion.
Great trail! this place is 10 miles from where I live and its nice having a singletrack out here. The burms are excellent and plenty of features. Great flow, you can go at a steady pace here and get breaks for your forearms once in a while. A couple of issues I would like solved one day.
What a gem! Not overly technical just a lot of fun. A little more than 11 miles right now with options to cut off short of that if you want. Volunteers have done an awesome job. New spur this year. One-way traffic (counter-clockwise) keeps things flowing smoothly. Trail conditions updated regularly online.
New to mountain biking, but the trails seemed great to me. Lots of green trails with some blue and even black features. The sign by the parking lot states over 14 miles of mtb trails.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
