Confirmed from Beryl Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring playgrounds, basketball, tennis courts and grass fields for soccer and volleyball.
What runners say about Beryl Park
“Always is clean and never super packed when we visit.”
Enjoy coming to this park with my husband and dogs. Always is clean and never super packed when we visit. Can enjoy a good walk with our pups.
Generally a nice park. There are four, large soccer pitches which have large lights which shut off at 9pm. Child leagues play there, often weekly. There are also 4 tennis courts which are well lit. You need to reserve a court via a written schedule which is hanging on the fence surrounding the courts.
Quaint park just north of Carnelian and the 210 freeway. Nice walk ways. There's even a beach styled volleyball court complete with in the sand pit. Perfect covered picnic area close to the parking lot so you don't have far to unload your crew.
Plenty of parking, shade from the sun, 4 covered gazebo areas, play structures for small kids as well as big kids, volleyball area, basketball court, tons of grass to run and play soccer.
Trail conditions & character

“Enjoy coming to this park with my husband and dogs.”
“Also has lights for night games and basketball court on the West side and tennis courts on the East.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
