Confirmed from Bicentennial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Waterfront park with tennis & basketball courts, exercise equipment, trails & a dog zone.
What runners say about Bicentennial Park
“My kids love the playgrounds, there is a cute shuffleboard court and pickleball courts, and the walkway is well maintained.”
“Beautiful place for family get togethers and birthday parties.”
“the place is quiet and calmed, the dog park is very convenient for the neighbors with doggies and the playground is always full of kids.”
Very nice and quiet park. Great trails with shade. Nice playground that is not crowded. Good parking with some shade by some trees. Shuffle board!!!!!!! Clean picnic areas that can be reserved. You could fish in the big lake. Probably need a license though.
November 2, 2025 Brought Fletcher to Bicentennial Park for a little walk! Grew up going here when Oldsmar recreation/summer camp was here! Great memories!
Nice place to park if you are going on bike trail. We are from out of town and found this parking listed on TrailLink. We rode our ebikes out of here. There was a nice crowd playing pickle ball and tennis. A good group and no thugs. So we felt safe. This city has gone above and beyond with their parks.
This is a great neighborhood park with 3 dedicated pickleball courts, 2 tennis courts, basketball courts, kids play area, and walking trails. Love pick-up pickleball play couple times a week. Folks are friendly and rotate players in and out.

“Lots of places to walk and fish but watch out for the alligators 😳 They have large bathrooms and changing tables for the people with babies.”

Plan your run at Bicentennial Park
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
