Confirmed from Mobbly Bayou Wilderness Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large nature preserve with amenities like picnic areas, hiking trails, a boat launch & dog park.
What runners say about Mobbly Bayou Wilderness Preserve
“The hike got only under way when we moved to the western edge of the wilderness and followed the well maintained trail to Mobbly Beach.”
“Beautiful little park with short walk and a Zipline course the cement walk way is nice but it needs to be a full circuit and the park is peaceful and scenic overall 3/5”

The Mobbly park is very nice and clean. They have playgrounds, ziplines and excellent trails for paddle boards. We went on the trail out to the coast. The trails and very nice with plenty of signs so you don't get lost. Very nice place for beginners.
This park & trail is awesome! I walk trail a few times a week & it’s so tranquil & a great place to get some really cool pictures! Sometimes the mosquitos are bad but that’s to be expected when you’re walking through nature down an off the beat trail that’s surrounded by water! It’s sooooo worth it tho!
You are better off in a boat. I tried hiking the area and ran into thick mud, plenty of ATV tracks that did not lead to a hiking trail and didn't find a single blaze. Why four stars?
Nice area to walk next to the water. Plenty of benches and trees for shady spots.
