Confirmed from Mobbly Bayou Beach Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Harbor & beach park with picnic shelters, exercise equipment, a dog run, canoe launch & restrooms.
What runners say about Mobbly Bayou Beach Park
“We did see some broken glass and burnt wood next to us near the sandy area but besides that it was pretty well kept and clean.”
“If I was a tourist, I would give it 1 star compared to other beautiful beaches on our coasts where there are waves and you can swim, but it's a park, not Sanibel Island.”
“Families will appreciate the shaded picnic areas and BBQ grills, while pet owners can take advantage of the spacious dog run.”
“Situated along the banks of Mobbly Bayou in Old Tampa Bay, this park offers visitors a serene and natural environment to enjoy outdoor activities and relax in the beauty of nature.”
I love this beach. It's small and mostly quiet which is perfect, I hate limited parking and crowded beaches. The beach area is small but has nice sand and a decent amount of trees for some shaded areas. The park area has gazebos and picnic tables and is a nice area for walking.
We need to pay $5 to use the parking lot. Yet few people will just park in near the street and take their walk. Such a beautiful beach with white sand.
Mobbly Bayou Beach Park is a peaceful escape in Oldsmar, FL, perfect for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. This hidden gem offers a quiet beach area, scenic trails, and a fishing pier, making it an ideal spot to unwind.
Nice and quiet. Bike and walk trail close by. Plenty of parking. A lot of pavilions, tables, and grills for picnic and gathering right next to the small beach area. Only one restroom. I would go there again for BBQ and trail walking.
