Confirmed from Bidwell Park One-Mile's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular for its swimming creek, this park also offers a playground, athletic field & picnic space.

Bidwell Park runs through Chico, CA, about 6 miles East. Very beautiful and quiet place, walking, running, or riding a bike.
I've been visiting Bidwell Park One mile (Sycamore pool) for over 30 years. I've got many fond memories of swimming in Sycamore pool as a teenager. I love this park! The grassy lawn area is perfect to put a blanket down and relax or play Frisbee with friends.
Bidwell Park is hands down one of my favorite places in Chico. It’s truly a gem—sprawling, peaceful, and full of hidden treasures. Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to walk, a rugged trail to hike, or a shady spot to picnic, Bidwell has it all.
I walk bidwell at least once a week with my dog. We always encounter responsible dog parents thay have great etiquette when walking and greeting. I really love this park and bringing my dog here ❤️
