Once more I enjoyed a walk from no name harbor to the lighthouse. It has been quite a while since I had visited and it was nice to reminisce about all the wedding photoshoots I had done here over the years. It was a bit too cold for a swim but getting my feet wet at the beach by the lighthouse was refreshing.
What a beautiful Park and area several Beach access points within the park two restaurants. A word to the wise we were visiting on vacation and didn't have transportation so we were using Uber to go everywhere. They dropped us off at the park no problem but cell service was spotty atlest for us.
I really love lighthouses, and this one is very special. The atmosphere around it is very pleasant. When we visited, there were not many people, so it felt calm and peaceful. If you walk a little away from the lighthouse in the evening, you can see a beautiful sunset.
Whenever I am in the area, I like to visit Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. Great place to go bird watching. I traveled about 3 miles over 2 hours and saw 38 species. Excellent. Lots of great habitats, and something for everyone.
