Do you like dirt? How bout rocks? What about bushes? Well then gosh darnit you're in luck. Cuz this arroyo gots it all! Nice dirt, nice rocks, nice bushes. Cool little trails, kinda secluded, take a lady, find a spot for some besitos... Idk, just make sure she like dirt and rocks and bushes too...
The Arroyo is a gem between Rim Rd., Robinson St. And the Franklin Mountains. The rains of 2021 have transformed this desert dry landscape into a green oasis. Tall desert plants dot the lower area next to the Tennis Club. Mountain bikes zoom through the trails while hikers cross through with their dogs.
Nice simple hike. Great for the whole family & pets. Will also take you to the B36 crash site trail and to the thousand steps trail, which will take you to the ridgeline and the back of the tramway. Have fun and as always, be careful 😉
I am very fortunate to live right behind. I take advantage as much as I can. You can walk the trails or ride your bike, walk your dog. And enjoy the beautiful dessert scenery.
