Confirmed from Black Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Black Creek Park
“The park features great amenities, including clean bathrooms, a baseball diamond, and a warm-up track for joggers.”
“It's a beautiful spring Saturday in Alabama, and I'm here for a softball tournament today, or else I would have never known about this park.”
This is a fantastic amenity to Fultondale. The maintenance crew does a phenomenal job and maintains the trails without killing everything green. There are trails, a ball field, picnic tables and pavilions, a fitness area (that people actually use!) and restrooms that are always clean.
This was my third visit to Black Creek Park. On two occasions, I was invited to join others. The park features great amenities, including clean bathrooms, a baseball diamond, and a warm-up track for joggers.
The park has a good walking area. Nice outdoor space for picnics or community fairs. There are also a set of old train tracks located adjacent to the park that have been removed and the track turned into a walking biking trail. Our group uses this area for running and conditioning for 5K, 10K or marathon runs.
Recently added exercise equipment that uses strictly our body weight for performance. Liter free park, the grounds are continually kept. Scenic, graveled walk track with a running creek. Swing set/play area for the kids. Plenty of picnic benches as well as covered areas for possible outside party use.
