Confirmed from Black Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Black Creek Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (232 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“Walk the short trail to the end for a scenic treat.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“I absolutely love it because it extremely peaceful especially when you take it all the way to the water.”

Excellent trail for a light walk, jog, or simply relax & watch ppl & boats, all for free. You're situated opposite of the marina where there are some benches you can sit & watch the crazy marina things. The marina has a small, tight footprint for todays population, sure to have that one jerk creating a scene.

Black Creek trail is honestly a really nice one to be on. It starts from 184th st and stretches about I believe about a total of 8.5 to 9 miles long depending on where you stop at. I absolutely love it because it extremely peaceful especially when you take it all the way to the water.

This place is a dream. Its a nature path that takes you to what seems another time & place. Its awesome to see the different age groups walking and enjoying nature. Everyone you pass will greet you and smile even though you may never have seen them nor will again. I get lost in time each visit I make.

New favorite trail! Great views of the canal and it’s about 1.5 miles round trip!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
