Confirmed from Black Hammock Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful scenery! Nice wide trails so you can go at your own pace without disrupting the faster riders. We did 8 miles on the bikes and we'll go further next time.

Nice area to walk through..unfortunately we have had alot of rain and it was really under water. But what a nice area to walk and explore. I seen a few people with dogs and a few hiking. We will definitely return when the water goes down, I think you should wear bug spray though.

This is an exciting and diverse place to ride and we didn't even see all of it! Lots of environmental transitions, several scenic parks, beautiful rural locations and wildlife to enjoy! There was also some nice rolling terrain and a somewhat challenging bridge over a highway at one point. Very enjoyable and beautiful!

I ride part of the trail for a few miles to church on Sunday’s, really insulates me from the crazy traffic. For more informal rides, I will prefer to stay on it all the time, lots of nature around you.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
