Confirmed from Central Winds Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park with ball fields for league play, plus pavilions, picnic grills & a playground.
What runners say about Central Winds Park
“The park itself is super spacious and clean, with lots of room to run, picnic, or set up for sports.”
“Park is beautiful but it is a concern that the kids play ground sits right by one of the trails so close to body of water with tons of gators about 6-8 foot possibly bigger.”
“🌳 This place has a little bit of everything — big playgrounds, wide open fields, basketball courts, volleyball, and plenty of shaded areas under the trees.”
Central Winds Park is such a gem in Oviedo! 🌳 This place has a little bit of everything — big playgrounds, wide open fields, basketball courts, volleyball, and plenty of shaded areas under the trees. Perfect for families, sports, or just hanging out on a nice day. The playground is a highlight for kids.
Park is always well maintained. Access to the trail. Doggy Park. There is a small fishing pier that has the nicest view of Lake Jesup. Very relaxing. It would be lovely it they would have a small little place that sold some drinks and appetizers by the fishing pier. It would be nice to sit and have a glass a of wine.

This park is amazing. It has a 3-story playground in a shaded, serene area close to a nature trail, the lake, swings, sand volleyball, basketball, and a few shaded gazebos. It also has a smaller playground near the baseball field. The entire park is vast and has many open fields for other sports.
