Confirmed from Black Lake Walking Path's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Black Lake Walking Path
“5 mile walking path is absolutely gorgeous- especially now (spring) as the flowers are in full bloom.”
“It was a little over a mile down and back in the sun and shade.”
“It’s so calm and peaceful walking along the lake.”
What a nice walking path! It’s so calm and peaceful walking along the lake. Love that there are plenty of benches and shady trees around.
Enjoyed walking here on a soft rubbery type path. It was a little over a mile down and back in the sun and shade. Very well kept with beautiful trees and floral areas.
A nice, rubberized walking path that is easy on the joints. Winds thru well maintained trees & shrubs alongside a small lake, some ponds, & marshy area. Partial shade for much of the walk. An outdoor exercise area near the start.
There's no food. This is a walking trail with that spongy material that is soft to walk on. There is plenty of nature and the trail is fairly long. They don't allow dogs which was disappointing, however, there are other trails in the area that do. This is an excellent walking trail.
