We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Black River Trail Hunt St yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Black River Trail Hunt St
Had no idea this was even here. Visiting for a few weeks and was looking for a place to take the pooch for a long walk. Found this driving down rt 3. Great trails that follow the river.
This is what I live for, smooth walking and riding trails. Love the outdoor living. Meet a lot of nice people along the way. It cool in the summer along the Black river. Beauty and peace and love seeing the small animals there too.
We enjoy this trail. It is a well used walking and biking path. The trail goes to Black River, but doesn't loop so we usually just walk a mile in and back out. Parking is available, but no amenities.
The part that goes into the woods, not along the river, runs behind private property and overlooks their garbage and unkempt land. I one unstance there is a dump that is visible.
