Confirmed from Black Walnut Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area featuring trails with abundant wildlife, including deer.

This is related to my Powder Canyon Loop Trail review. If you are interested in joining in any hikes, you can find my hikes on the "Meet Up" app under the group "Five Miles or More Hiking Group" with the times and places I'll be going. Enjoy your hiking.
I loved the hike. The trail breaks into other trails Definitely need to go back to see where they all lead. Highly recommend. It's a great hike for anyone.
The rabbits here seem unafraid. Watch out for rattlesnakes. The trail was exposed to the sun in the first section going up and a lot of flies from the horse droppings, but I would visit again and see where the other trails connect and to see how the mustard plants have grown.
This is a really tough hill to climb. I'm not going to lie, I was only able to make it like 1 quarter of it. I'm a beginner and I wanted to test my endurance, which is very low. I'm going to keep pushing myself and maybe one day I'll be able to finish it all at once.
