Confirmed from Trailview Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with kid-friendly hiking trails, picnic tables, and lots of shade trees.
What runners say about Trailview Park
“Usually not too busy but always kept nice and clean.”
“Nice secluded park in front and if you take the walk up the road there's a great view!”
“Very small quiet park snugged up against the hillsides.”
A great workout for a walk straight up hill... legs were wobbly after but the view is great
Just be aware of wild animals. Usually they're more afraid of humans than we are of them. A few years ago, I saw a very big coyote as I was about to enter this part of the park from Fullerton Road.
Beautiful neighborhood park. Lots of shade and lawn to enjoy. Was there on a Friday around noon with no one else around, what a gem. Be advised no play equipment if bringing kids (bring some fun)
It’s a well maintained trail. Slightly steep in the beginning, but fairly manageable after that. You are rewarded by a nice view along the way. We went mid January and didn’t see much flowers. We recommended this trail to friends and they saw more flowers in this late January.
Trail conditions & character
“It's a nice view, but I recommend going up Powder Canyon trail and seeing the scene from there.”
“Then a few years later, I think I saw the same coyote while mountain biking on top of one of the hills where a tower is located.”
“No nature trails to hike, but there's a steep paved access road that people use.”
“Make sure to use restrooms before you go to this park, because they don't have any.”
“Very small quiet park snugged up against the hillsides.”
“This's a medium level hike if you do the whole loop.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
