Confirmed from Channing Circle Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, walking trails, and scenic views of the area's hills, bridges, and waterways.
What runners say about Channing Circle Park
“Beautiful park within walking distance from my old house with some nice walking trails.”
Cute little park. Perfect jumping off point for fantastic hiking. Great views from the top!
What a park!!! I’m starting to think maybe this is just a local gym that not many people talk about or frequent but the trails around it are absolutely stunning with 360 views of the East Bay everywhere!
One of the best views of Vallejo and the Carquinez Bridge from the vantage point of Benicia. There's a playground for kids, a water fountain, and some dirt trails that connect there, but no public restroom. If you live in Benicia it's a great urban hiking destination!
Water fountain and water bowls for dogs. Hike up to amazing 360 views. Worth the hike. Can make a loop of the trail too.
