Confirmed from Bluegrass Park and Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bluegrass Park and Nature Preserve
Grew up in these woods, circa 1990-2000 before I got my license. Trails and small ravines to make your own fun with, some "huge" ramps for bike jumps that I now realize are simple bumps under the lens of adulthood, fishing for tadpoles in the creek, hide and go seek and eventually paint ball.
Great place to bring a friend to relax or do some high intensity cardio! Facing the park sign from the street we have 2 acres of woods on the right (with a pleasant little trail that splits off into 3 directions at periodical points in the trail).

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
