This place is really beautiful. I enjoyed the scenic views. It just brings so much calm and satisfaction just being here and taking a stroll in the evening. I envy the people living near this trail.
Gorgeous sunset views. Not overly crowded, plenty of parking. Depending on the route taken, you can get a brisk 2-3 mile hike in with most of the elevation gain in the first 0.5-1 mile. Such a pretty view- downtown, DTC, castle rock, Lone Tree, the Rocky Mountains! Panoramic. Love this to unwind and see wildlife too!
This is such a nice little trail run/hiking area. Oftentimes the highlight of my day/week. Careful in the summer of rattlesnakes if you go to the back trail since it's less trafficked and they like to sun bathe.
This hike is amazing with the vast front range mountain past downtown and tech center view. A little elevation change to make it a challenge, wide dirt trail, a loop, plus a big parking lot. A little muddy on northside but overall good shape for dirt trails this time of year.
