Confirmed from Blyth Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Blyth Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,144 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“Plenty of picnic tables, two large shelters (one of which has a fireplace), lots of parking and clean toilets for park visitors.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“And if you are in the mood for hiking, which is what we did, its a beautiful trek up the mountain!”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 6 mentions

“We visited on spring weekday, it’s pretty and peaceful.”

This park is unofficially an off leash park area as you’ll see Al dogs running blissfully! It’s adjacent to Wayne Park ( which is 80 acres) or Golf Course. Which is now all one area. Theres a higher hub trail but it’s an incline and muddy when it rains, watch out slippery slopes.

Such a nice cute park! Connects right to Wayne Park, there are nearby trails and fields for your dogs. Remember to pick up after your dog!

★★★★★ — Explore , May 2024

Lovely place for a morning walk. Mist rises from the creek, making for an emersive nature experience. Quiet and not crowded. Trails are very nice and secluded especially for being so close to civilization.

★★★★★ — Evangelos , Nov 2024

Calm, peaceful park. Well maintained trails. Clean bathrooms. Active playground. A disc golf basket even. Great place for a stroll with the dog.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
