Confirmed from Bob & Crystal Rilee Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 11 mentions

“Bob & Crystal Rilee Park Friday, Mar 7 at 1:00 pm An amazingly beautiful day for a dog walk at Bob and Crystal Riley Park near Newburg, Oregon.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Not many old trees, not many views, but an enjoyable mostly shaded park for a stroll or a run (lookout for horse poo).”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Absolutely beautiful well-kept trails, multiple options, peaceful, quiet and not very many people”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Easy walking so good for all ages.”

Unusual park created in effort to connect multiple parcels of land that used to be once large private property. I highly recommend downloading the map if visiting for the first time, so you can understand the complexity of all trails which are interconnected, but not always in an obvious way.

An amazing hidden gem of a park located fifteen minutes from Newberg on Parret Mountain. Beautiful manicured trails ranging from challenging to supremely easy. You can ride horses here. Beautiful elevated views of Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, Mt. Bachelor, and even Mt. St.

Great place to go for a good hike and a place to take you dogs while on a leash! My family and I took 2 dogs and only walked the back perimeter of the Rilee park, and it was an hour and a half walk! Great trails, it is a little rugged, but it's worth the walk!! And the dogs loved walking it too!!

★★★★☆ — Christina , May 2024

I look forward to going back. The trails I walked surrounded fields and paralleled roads. I'm looking forward to hiking the more wooded trails.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
