Confirmed from Bob Mays Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sprawling green space for kids and adults alike: playground, trails and fields plus picnic tables for lunch on the go.
What runners say about Bob Mays Park
“Like most Quincy parks, Bob Mays is well maintained.”
Lots to do here. An up to date kids play area. Nice frisbee golf course. Open field for soccer looked like. Nice paved trail good for bikes walking and even strollers. Shelter house. Toilets available at shelter house. An adult work out equipment training area.
This is such a great addition to the city of Quincy! We love to walk the trail. People that you meet along the way are friendly and exchange a hello or flash a smile!
Large park that's well taken care of. Has a long bike/walking path, a playground, work out equipment, and Frolf course.
Great place to walk aand enjoy nature's friends,...it reminds me of my younger days when i used to walk & bike a lot out in the Country and Mountains, Who knows!?,I'd like to give it a try again at my older age.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
