Confirmed from Nature Trails East's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Nature Trails East
Great trail just on the edge of town. We tried it out just for something different. Could have been longer but still a great change of pace from Klnger.
What an amazing trail system. I wish it was longer but it's perfect for beginner mountain bikers to get out there and be in the woods without having to fight rocks and roots in the middle of the trail. It also has an amazing bike jump park that's close to the parking lot.
A great trail. Straight shot, without the bike switchbacks, is about 1 mile long. It is a little muddy after significant rain but it’s an excellent addition to Quincy trails.
Nice trail for walking or biking that follows a creek . The trail splits off into 2 trails and can be challenging at times due to rocks and tree roots.

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
