Confirmed from Moorman Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park, also featuring a playground, for baseball, basketball and volleyball games, plus picnic spots and miniature golf.
What runners say about Moorman Park
“Always clean, nice and good updates to the playground.”
“Went for my daughter’s first soft ball game and the field closest to the batting cage is absolutely beautiful!”
This park is wide open with plenty of space for everything. Playgrounds, picnic areas, fishing pond, Frisbee golf, lots of walking! Well-maintained and clean. Recommend and will visit again. I didn't get any pictures because too busy taking a long walk!
Nice big park with something for the whole family! Ballfields, Frisbee golf, fishing, paddle boats, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts, miniature golf, batting cage and plenty of room to walk/run! Love taking my kids and dogs here!
Always Great! My wife and I both needed a break from a bone mile stop and go traffic jam. We stopped in and slowed down. Freshened up and ate a fantastic meal. The question I have is why are the fries always Hot? Great job by the staff!
I live taking my dog here to walk, it is a very nice sized park with a wonderful walking trail that goes throughout it

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
