Confirmed from Bobby Richardson Sports Complex's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bobby Richardson Sports Complex
“No complaints this is one of the best parks in sumter clean enough restrooms everything you need for sports”
A very nice ball park that has a concession stand. There are restrooms where the stand is. The park also has three baseball fields and as well as a batting cage. I've noticed some exercise equipment. There's also a playground for kids and a small water park. I believe there is a restroom in this area too.
Very cool experience. Great for walking, biking, picnicking, and a great place for the kids to play. The splash pad is a great place for the kids to stay cool on hot summer days!
A very nice sport complex, the only thing open was the walking trails and the playground area.
Great park to walk. Love the fish pond. The scenery is beautiful and relaxing!!

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
