Confirmed from Bode East's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenery and wildlife are big draws at this forested area of 9-mile paved paths, ponds and picnic spots.
What runners say about Bode East
“The nature is beautiful, and you can walk to the lake and back.”
Great place to bike. Has a lot of unexpected small inclines so it’s going to take some energy to go through the red trail, but it’s worth it. Wish that the trail was a little clearer on where you need to go as you have to cross the street multiple times throughout the red trail’s 9.3 miles
Like to walk my dog on these paved trails. Nice touch of nature. The trails are mix of full sun and shade so on hot days watch how hot the path gets. Lots of people bike and jog on the trail so pay attention if you have a long leash, not everyone gives a heads up when they are behind you.
It’s a wonderful place for walking or riding bicycles, scooters, kick scooters, and other electric scooters. The nature is beautiful, and you can walk to the lake and back. Everything is especially beautiful this time of year.
Nice green area for picnics or playing with your dog. Far enough away from Bode Lake that there's not a lot of mosquitoes. The path is nice as well.
