This is a nice place for a walk if you want to go up and down a hill. There is open field and forest habitat. Folks walk dogs here, but often fail to follow the leash requirement. Bird watching would probably be better if they did. When it snows, this hill would be fabulous for sledding.
Quiet and nice place. But if you take your dog please pick up your excrement.. It is unpleasant to walk and have to be careful not to step on them. In addition, there are areas that smell very bad. Because of that
I had no idea this little trail existed and I've lived a couple miles away for years. It was the perfect length trail for my pre schoolers. We loved the picnic tables under an idyllic old oak tree.
Ample parking and a kiosk with map of the area. Plenty of dog poop bags located in several spots, and a human restroom too. A rough loop trail with territorial views from the top. A great place to let the dogs run, but please have them under control as not everyone here wants a visitor running up on them.
