Confirmed from Bonneyville Mill County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Free county park featuring a working mill, along with trails, waterfalls and a schoolhouse.
What runners say about Bonneyville Mill County Park
“Lots of nice trails to walk on, clean restrooms and plenty of picnic tables to sit at.”
“The bonneyville mill what's so beautiful the walking trails were very nice and the way they went around the water was beautiful”
Gorgeous park with so many trails to explore! Our rescue dog and I enjoyed taking some photos and exploring while my husband was performing a puppet show at Eby Pines campground. There are many bathrooms and picnic tables dotted throughout the property.
We were looking for a mill with a water wheel when we found this one. It's not a vertical water wheel but a turbine wheel in the water. It was explained to us that because of the terrain and water levels, there was no way to use a vertical wheel.
This park has a beautiful old mill that is still operating. They grind wheat, corn, buckwheat, and other grains, which you may purchase at the mill. This park has several hiking trails and a picnic pavilion. A very interesting place to visit. There are also some other historic buildings in the park.
Beautiful trails! Some are needing to be fixed and reopened due to flooding only reason in giving 4/5 stars. The mill is free and open everyday but Mondays. During the summer they will run the mill and you can watch them make flour. Great family activity and great place to take photos
