Confirmed from Boomer Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Waterfront park with fishing, boating & amenities such as a disc-golf course, splash pad & trails.
What runners say about Boomer Lake Park
“The walking trails are delightful and the kids park is well maintained.”
“Everything was beautiful and fun, the park, fountain ⛲️, disc golf, walked, ran and biked around the lake.”
“Beautiful place to gather with friends and family or if you just want peace and quiet with a view.”
Beautiful grounds, appreciated that there is a trail that goes around the entire lake. Would have walked it if I had more time. Recommend this place if you are looking to biking, run and take a long walk.
Big, beautiful lake. Paths to walk, spash pad and great fireworks on the fourth of july.
Beautiful, serene park... As hot as it is during the summer this park always seems to be just a touch cooler. The air feels a bit lighter and the breeze off of the lake a tad more refreshing than the hot breeze in other areas of town. One road has the park set up ... Clean and plenty of shade...
We did some kayaking and can tell you that the undertow is extreme. We went on a day there was a breeze and we were struggling to get back to where we started. Otherwise it was fun and enjoyable.
