Confirmed from Boone United Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Boone United Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (96 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“I'd did it in less than 45 min and that included time to stop and take photos and look at tree roots and beautiful curvy dead tree trunks.”

🪧 well-marked 2 mentions

“Nice hike Not well marked nor maintained, but very enjoyable.”

Directions are incorrect. You need to map to Boone United Methodist Church at 471 New Market Blvd. Park in the back of the lot where you will find a trail map. Otherwise, you will be sent through Chestnut Drive and Hidden Valley Circle which are residential neighborhoods.

Trail starts out simple looking trailhead at distal end of churches parking lot and starts by coursing through what appears to be a couple back yards, yes and and then the fun begins! No too difficult but gets your SV X Hr= CO up!

Nice hike with not many people. I'd did it in less than 45 min and that included time to stop and take photos and look at tree roots and beautiful curvy dead tree trunks. You can see a house very close by for most of the walk. I enjoyed the uphill going out but it's short and so I'd still rate it moderate.

Beautiful and simple hike. Easy for our Texas crew. No big scenic overlooks, and could have added one or two more trail markers. But we loved it and would go again.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
