We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Bootleg Canyon - Stonehenge Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bootleg Canyon - Stonehenge Trailhead
- Most bikers go clockwise around this trail. So I recommend hiking counter clockwise so you can see the bikers coming toward you (sometimes at high speed). - To avoid a collision, step down hill off the trail, not uphill where will slide down into the oncoming bike. - There is NO WATER SOURCE on this trail!
This is another one of many trailheads located off Veterans Drive in Boulder City. There is plenty of free parking at the trailhead, but it is not a paved parking lot.
Been coming here for way more years that I am going to admit to. Still a great place. Technical hiking, running, biking!
