Confirmed from Boston Run Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Boston Run Trailhead
“2 mile loop with some small hills and picturesque trails.”
Very nice 3.5 mile hike. Can be a bit muddy in the winter. A lot of stones and ruts to navigate. Several man-made bridges crossing over the creeks. Restroom on site. Some photos are from the Haskell run trail and the Pine Grove Trail
Great loop trail. 3.5 miles with great elevation changes. Some of the best "deep woods" vibes with well placed benches for moments of solitude along the trail. A good valley leg workout. Trail can be finished easily walking and taking in the sights in an hour and a half.
Boston Run Trail: Nice, peaceful hike surrounded by nature. Only saw a handful of people on a Sunday around noon in mid-July. Parts of the trail were significantly muddy and slippery with not a significant amount of recent rain.
My favorite place to walk on a regular basis as there are fewer people here than the other trails. It is just barely over 5K. It is pretty with wildlife throughout. It has hills and valleys to add minor challenge. 50 minutes is about as fast as one can go without adding in some jogging.
