I really like the wetlands. They're a short walk up the road from my house, so this is where I take my dog for afternoon strolls and to play fetch. It can be a bit muddy, but the sights, sounds, and smells are worth it. I've seen deer, hawks, ducks, geese, and once a barred owl.
Well kept paths through a dense wooded patch between Burgess and gore roads. Healthy deer population, Turkey, barred owls, foxes and bats... just to name a few of the creatures you might encounter.
Small but nice. Short woodland trail loop through a restored area. Very quiet. Lots of small critters.
