Confirmed from Brentwood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park with lawns, play areas, picnic & barbecue facilities & kids' baseball & basketball fields.
What runners say about Brentwood Park
“This park is right by home and is always clean.”
“During the days it’s quiet but towards the afternoon evening you get the usual crowd that plays basketball and soccer.”
I love the bike trail and the picnic area. Lots of space and well maintained.
When i first moved up the hill a yr ago ive heard or seen bad reviews of this park but my son goes to school next to this park and ive never seen anything bad. Usually in the mornings there are ppl walking and running the track. Looks pretty kept up and clean.
Nice park , restrooms are clean . Only thing is the last couple times i took my 4 year old a group of kids were fighting in the parking lot , and another occasion kids smoking weed by where the kids are playing . There is a nice trail to walk, ride bikes etc . One of the baketball courts is functioning .
This park is right by home and is always clean. During the days it’s quiet but towards the afternoon evening you get the usual crowd that plays basketball and soccer. The men playing basketball are intimidating and smoke weed during their break. You have some little kids that are troublemakers.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
