Confirmed from Bringhurst City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Bringhurst City Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (455 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“Clean areas animals looked healthy and taken care of.”

Cute splash pad perfect for hot days. The playground has 2 different areas of equipment, for different ages, as well as swings for everyone. There is a huge shaded pavilion in the center for parties and/or resting & the park is gated to keep littles from running too far.

Only waited 10 minutes to get into and they honored the expired fotaz family pass I bought last year. Kids loved the animals and most were out and about. Super clean and not to crowded. They had benches to stop and feed the kids, while on the path. Plenty of shade and sanitizing stations.

I went with my daughter and grandkids. The Christmas lights were beautiful but you really couldn't see the animals. It was nice just to walk through and enjoy the scenery though. High 5 to all who worked on it. I know it took allot of time to string all those lights up. Great job!

Les made huge changes here at the zoo. You no longer have to hold your nose when walking through. Habitats are beautiful and filled with healthy animals. They have wonderful education, conservation, and animal exchange program.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
