Confirmed from Alexandria Levee Park Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Alexandria Levee Park Recreation Area
“Very clean, but not enough signage to locate”
There's a playground for school age kids, but the rocks are not friendly if wearing sandals! It's definitely not for kids under 5. There's also a nice walking trail and the Red River is fun to see. I rated a 4 because I think every park should have something for any age child.
Trail conditions & character
“I don't know if shady people go there or if it gets dirty or if the restrooms are good but I only care about the catfish”

- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
