Confirmed from Broadway Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly trailhead at the edge of Saguaro National Park featuring scenic desert views.

Excellent little trailhead that connects to a ton of different, beautiful, enjoyable trails. Be a good steward and make sure you take care of the trail, as it is the National Park.
Being a southeast Tucson resident I come here quite frequently to take advantage of the magnificent scenery (this is part of Saguaro National Park East) and a nice paved 1.4 mi. walk from the parking lot to Mica View picnic area and back.
Easy parking and clear map at the entrance. Very hot in the summer...dont be one of the people we see on the news, bring plenty of water with you even if you dont think you need it, trust me you will. Mostly flat with small inclines and declines good for beginners.
After exploring Saguaro West we wanted to check out the East side, to see if it’s different. The answer is yes, it’s very different from the West side, so we didn’t regret going. We did the Mica View to Cactus Forest trail. This is a nice short trail where you can see a great variety of cacti.

“The end of the road does come up fast and more times than not people come up a little to quick to the parking area—so be cautious of this if you’re walking back to your car.”
“We did about a 4 mile loop in an hour and 44 minutes and finished at 10:30am it was already 97 degrees.”
“A wonderful network of easy to walk flat trails with occasional short ups and downs through washes.”
“Being a southeast Tucson resident I come here quite frequently to take advantage of the magnificent scenery (this is part of Saguaro National Park East) and a nice paved 1.”
“We did a 3 mile loop by stringing together Pink Hill, Loma Verde, Cholla, and Cactus Forest trails.”
