Confirmed from Pantano Wash Path's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Smooth, well-paved cycling and walking path along a dry wash with rest areas.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Beautiful desert riparian habitat.”

Love riding up and down this path. Such a nice view whichever way you decide to go. Walk, bike, skate, really whatever you'd like, as the paths are nicely made, and very smooth. They even have secondary dirt paths in certain areas along the path, and they do a really good job of keeping the paths nice and clean.

Very well maintained paved pathway along Pantano Wash with lots of landscaping and some rest areas. The wintery pictures with this review were taken in January. Springtime brings many flowers and more birds. There is a nice gravel path which I use for a more lesurly walk away from those that select to bike or jog.

★★★★★ — Paul , Jan 2022

Every ride (or run) is better than the one before. The excellent park workers are cleaning the pebbles and dried mud from the monsoon floods.

★★★★★ — Ricky , Aug 2021

Very clean and well maintained. Lots of road runners in this stretch and I've seen red-tailed hawks often as well. Sometimes they just perch on the railing and watch you as you ride by. This section is not busy compared to the Rillitio section and even slows down more the closer you get to Harrison.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
