Confirmed from Broomfield Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Love this park, nice calm pond to walk around. It's right next to the library, so it's a great place to read a book that you just got. The geese are a little too much some times. Looks like the city cleans up the poop though.

First time at this park. There was plenty of parking, and it was a nice walk around the pond. There were a few flower gardens that had markers indicating what flowers were name what. The 911 memorial area was very beautiful.

Broomfield Community Park is an absolute gem! This massive park offers something for everyone — multiple playgrounds, sports fields, a great skate park, and walking trails. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and full of positive energy.

One of our favorite parks. It's close to the library, you can walk around the pond that has ducks. There are tennis courts. The playground is perfect for all ages because they have a smaller one and a bigger one. They have picnic tables in between the two parks which I find nice. Some of the park is shaded.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
