Confirmed from Midway Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Narrow, peaceful, well-kept and spacious greenspace, featuring a disc golf course, a playground, car shows and a creek.
What runners say about Midway Park
“Midway Park is a beautiful, well maintained Park and big enough not to feel overly crowded even when it is at its busiest.”
Very large park mostly very nice for walking yourself and dog. Only downer is a small stagnant lake/pond that appears to be mosquito breeding spot. Nice neighborhood too. Drive around and see some nice houses if that is something you like. Will go back just beware bugs
I love this park and the trail of parks it is on. This area is always very clean and hosts some fun events. I often see car shows going on and of course there's Broomfield Days. The lake makes this area very peaceful. A great place to feed the ducks.
Pretty cool spot for kids to play and release some energy. Attended a Bday party there, my kids had a blast. Plenty of open space to run.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
