Confirmed from Lake Link Trail (Western entrance)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great hike, with multiple starting points. One of the starting points is by Hunter Douglas, no public parking is available. I assume that point, is for employees who work in the area and would like to access the trail as well.
The Lake Link Trail is a great place to bicycle, hike, jog/run, walk anytime of the year. It is just on the outskirts of Broomfield.
BEAUTIFUL trail! It's quiet and not intense. Perfect for relaxing your mind on a stressfful day. Recommendation: wear sunscreen :)
Good dirt paths for running with lots of hills and loops. Beautiful natural meadow with coyotes, prairie dogs, and rabbits.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
