Confirmed from Joryville Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Quiet park with scenic views from the hillside and multiple walking loops, plus shaded picnic spots.
What runners say about Joryville Park
“There are lots of trail to cut through the woods, all well maintained and easy to find you way.”
“It's a gorgeous park, fully shaded which is nice for hot days, and there are access points to get down to the creek.”
“There was not a lot of people here, a quiet place to unwind and soak in some beautiful Oregon views.”
“My dog loves coming here.”
A nice little jem of a park for a short walk in the woods, lots of interesting looking fungi although most are not good to eat, and the bridge to wooden stepping stones is very unique and fun. However, the stepping stones can get really slippery during the rainy seasons, and then you may find yourself in the drink.
This time of year the ponds are full and you really can't walk around but it's still beautiful. Hiking in the hills is really nice. Be sure to wear boots this time of year. Can get muddy.
I like this park because it's quite expansive. There are so many species of mushrooms too! Quiet with low foot traffic in the fall, my favorite time to hike.
Both the hike through the wooded area and the views you get make this park a great afternoon experience. There were many trails leading up through the woods, many of which take you to a scenic loop around an empty field.
Trail conditions & character

“Some of the trails were a steep climb and, even with hiking boots, became a little challenging due to the saturated ground.”
“The air was fresh and crisp, the trails were very well kept, and the park is pet friendly.”
“The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the bathroom isn't always in great shape, and the trails could use a bit more maintenance throughout the year.”
“Near parking area is an area area to work a horse and a hitching post.”
“There was not a lot of people here, a quiet place to unwind and soak in some beautiful Oregon views.”
“Paved areas, trails through trees areas and along the creek.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
