Great little pond. Has a small trail around it. It's an easy catch and release for young kids. Some big coy in water that have been there for a decade. A Blue Herring frequents the area.
Absolutely love Buckingham Park Lake! It's a serene oasis nestled in Albany's heart, offering a safe haven for families. The play area is fantastic, catering to kids of all ages, and the option to fish in the lake is a definite plus. Plus, it's dog-friendly, making it perfect for our furry friends too.
Buckingham Lake is a well preserved park in the eponymous neighborhood in Albany. The trail loops around the lake. It has sections that are under a dense and mature canopy
Nice park but small. About 0.75 mile walk around the lake on a gravel/packed dirt path. 3 water fountains in the lake. A few nice spots to sit and relax by the water. Small playground right by the parking lot. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.
