Confirmed from Burton Mill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic lakefront park featuring a clean beach area and grills, plus a boat ramp and a swimming area.
What runners say about Burton Mill Park
“The park was neat and clean however the fee for annual passes way too high.”
“Beautiful park with beach and well maintained bike/hiking trail”
Nice park with a beach area, boat ramp, and picnic benches with grills (I saw a total of 7). There are also some short walking trails along the water with nice views and benches to sit on. The beach area is really nice and wasn't too crowded on a Saturday when we went.
I love burton mill park. It is usually less busy than the other parks at lake lanier and there is a few good place to walk and look around.
Walked the sidewalks and a path through the woods near the lake. Several picnic sights with tables and grills. Great Lake views and overall a good park. $3 parking fee.
Trail conditions & character
“Dogs are not allowed in this park (there are signs at the entrance) and the ranger sent us home.”

“There is a large sandy beach for families and for couples there are many semi private spots scattered throghout the wooded beach .”
“It never seems to be too busy thankfully so parking normally isn’t an issue.”
